There are many different apps and programs that can be installed in your cell phone so that you can watch movies at your convenience. Only certain types of phone providers and phones support movies. Usually they are the more up to date cell phones that have a high, and fast connection speed. This will not work otherwise. There are many different contents that can already be viewed on your smartphone such as YouTube. Some phones support these apps, while others do not. You can always download movie apps so you can enjoy your favorite movies. Some will charge a one time fee for downloading, and others will also charge per movie. It just all depends where you get the movies from.

If you have the market on your cellphone like a iPhone 5 or HTC Sensation, you can actually search for cool movie apps on the market. You can see what you come up with. You need to remember that not all apps will be compatible with the phone that you have. They really differ in so many ways. If you have a older model phone, it may not be worth downloading movies, because you may experience stopping, and current freezing in between. That goes for any 3G phone. If you have a 4G smartphone, then you are all set to go, and you can watch movies at a faster speed, without having to worry about the movie stopping all of the time. Technology has really taken over because you no longer have to go to the movies to watch a movie, you can watch it right on your smartphone.

As of this writing, the New York Times determined, basfed on reviews read, detail pages views, and trailers seen from the Times’s Website over the previous 24 hours, that David Cronenberg’s “A Dangerous Method” is the number one film in the United States. The film addresses changing relationships between Carl Jung, his mentor Freud, and a Jungian patient.

The following five most popular films in the same survey were, in descending order, “My Week With Marilyn” (about Marilyn Monroe), “Hugo” (adapting the children’s novel and using it as a kid of tribute to early film in the bargain), “The Muppets” (returning the famous “Sesame Street” characters to the screen), and “Descendants” (featuring George Clooney in a story about a Hawaiian family).

However, The-Numbers.com, which ranks films based on surveying nearly up-to-the-minute box office data, had “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1” at the top slot, with the next four, in descending order, being “Immortals,” “Happy Feet 2,” “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2,” and “J. Edgar,” the last a biographical look at the legendary and controversial first director of the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation.

USA Today, on the other hand, lists the same top three as The-Numbers.com but shows fourth and fifth place belonging to the Adam Sandler comedy “Jack and Jill” and the animated “Puss in Boots,” based on a character that first appeared in the “Shrek” films. USA Today bases their listing on findings by Rentrak Corporation.

Both The-Numbers.com and USA Today/Rentrak culled their findings from box-office figures the weekend of 18-20 November.

“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 1” was released that same weekend and grossed a reported $138,122,261, with a reported theater average gross in the same time period being $34,011. “Immortals” and “Happy Feet 2” were also released in time for the same weekend, with “Jack and Jill” two weeks old and “Puss in Boots,” four weeks old.

“Descendants” was the tenth-ranked box-office gross of the weekend in its first week of life; “J. Edgar” ranked seventh on the weekend box-office gross after a second week’s release. The rest of the top ten box-office grossers were, in descending order, “Tower Heist” (number six; three weeks old), “A Very Harold and Kumar 3DChristmas” (number eight; three weeks old), and “in Time” (number nine; four weeks old).

The story is based on the true events which conspired between an MIT professor and five students he trains to count cards in Las Vegas. The professor is named Micky Rosa, who years earlier had left vegas with a large sum after counting cards. The scam also netted Rosa an enemy, the casino manager Cole Williams played by Fishburne who lost is job for failing to catch Rosa. The star of the team is Ben Campbell, who is intelligent but without the funds to pay for Harvard Medical School. Thus he takes a job with the team to pay the sum of $300,000. Kianna, Fisher, Choi and Jill round out the team. The team has two parts each with its own job: one group counts the cards, but bets low, while another group makes bets when signaled by members of the first group that conditions are ideal for a win. Initially the plan is a success, but it eventually leads to Campbell’s addiction to gambling and the lifestyle it affords him. He plays by emotion rather than the advice of his partners counting. The gambling then interferes with Campbell’s educational life when he does not participate in an engineering project manned by the team. Tensions peak when Cambell loses $200,000 in Vegas and Rosa quits while simultaneously requiring repayment. Williams and Campbell conspire to trade a large win in his casino for Campbell turning over Rosa. However after Rosa and Campbell win $640,000 with blackjack online, Rosa takes the chips. He is outsmarted when he opens the bag and they are not casino chips but chocolate coins. Williams captures Rosa and takes the chips from Campbell by gunpoint. Meanwhile the rest of the team is counting cards, whom Campbell later joins.

The Dark Knight Rises is an up and coming action movie that stemmed from 2005′s popular movie Batman Begins. Based on the DC comics character of Batman, The Dark Knight Rises is a follow up to the 2008 movie The Dark Knight, and will be the last movie in this Batman series. While the directors were hesitant about creating the third movie because third installments are usually prone to disappointment, it was decided that The Dark Knight Rises had a strong enough story to proceed with filming. The directors also wanted to give the series a proper ending. Viewers will see the return of many familiar characters: Christian Bale as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Michael Caine as Alfred, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon, and Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox. It has been confirmed that The Joker will not be returning for The Dark Knight Rises, but we will see new villains in Anne Hathaway’s Selina Kyle/Catwoman and Tom Hardy’s Bane. These are characters that will most likely please die-hard Batman fans because of their strong ties to the original Batman comic books. With regards to filming, the directors have chosen not to release The Dark Knight Rises in 3-D, but have decided to use similar styling that was used in The Dark Knight and give viewers the pleasure of watching in IMAX format. Their desire is to use even more of this technology in The Dark Knight Rises. The budget for this highly anticipated movie is $250 million, with scenes being shot all around the world and all of the most advanced technology being used to produce a thrilling end to this series. Teasers for the movie started being leaked around May 2011, with trailers being released now. Some have mixed reviews about how they feel about the appearance of certain characters, but most are excited and anticipating the release of this well-deserved ending to the Batman series. The movie is scheduled for release in the United States and Canada on July 20, 2012.

Yes the time is here for we have all been waiting on the new Blu-ray box set for Star Wars entitled “The Complete Saga”. And I must say I am rather pleased to have mine. And for all the other Star Wars lovers out there I know this is like a complete orgy fest for you. Well at least it was for me but anyways it is sad to say that poor George isn’t going to be releasing the original trilogy in the Blu-ray edition as of yet. But on the other hand the complete saga version will do just fine until the trilogy is made available. And not to forget that this set comes with 9 discs in total, this is about 980 minutes in all.

So moving ahead I must say that I couldn’t be any happier that Blu-ray exists and that of course that Star Wars exists. For the special effects that are in those movies and the high definition quality that Blu-ray offers makes spending money on this Blu-ray worth the hassle. And looking back at the time frame that Star Wars first came out it is rather astounding to believe the quality was even good then without Blu-ray’s technology. But I will say that Blu-ray will never make Star Wars: Phantom Menace into a good movie. For we all know that episode turned out rather sour. And no matter how much high definition you put into that movie it is never going to become good.
